Editing day 2

Today we focused on cutting the clips down even shorter and only keeping things that we felt were necessary to make sure that the whole opening didn’t go over the time restriction that we were given in the brief. We managed to get the overall opening cut down to 4 minutes by making the opening park scenes shorter as they’re not very important they’re just to set the scene, and cutting down the photo printing shot as it was way too long  and it didn’t need to be focused on that much. We muted all of the shots so that no background noise or talking could be heard and found a camera noise on the software which we then put on the timeline at the sections where Billy was taking pictures so that it was clear what he was doing, especially to make it clearer during the POV shots, we cut the noise down so it didn’t last too long and was just a quick snap at each part so the audience know that a picture was being taken and put it on the timeline at each section we needed it. I went to look for some music and found some non copyrighted music ready to add into the next editing session. Our targets for our next editing session is to try and get a camera outline that we can edit onto the clips so the POV clips make more sens and to try and get the opening cut down to the 2 minutes it needs to be.
